Meet the Vita, named for Vita Sackville-West — who wore breeches and a man's shirt and made everyone else in the room look as though they'd tried too hard.

There's something irresistibly feminine about a woman in a borrowed, boyish look, and the Vita is that idea worked into a single piece: a fine ivory knit with a tie built into an open collar, worn loose, thrown on, undone on purpose.

Look closer and the ease gives way to detail — a diamond-panel openwork so fine it reads as broderie, in a cool, breathable cotton-rayon made for the warmer months. It does the quiet work of a white shirt and pairs with anything, but it was never really a basic. It only dresses like one.

One of those gold dust pieces: it says careless to the world, and then you put it on, and it feels considered, cool, and quietly luxurious — anything but.

Crafted from a fine & delicate cotton-viscose yarn, this garment has a crisp & slinky drape & a surprisingly dry hand feel, making it perfect for the warmer months as a stand alone piece, but equally suitable for the cooler months as a layering piece worn as part of an ensemble.

Knitted in China.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash at 30 degrees.

We offer FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE, on all orders, a tracked service via Royal Mail & Royal Mail International.

TRANSIT TIMES:

Transit times vary depending on destination, and cannot be guaranteed, however the below are the indicative times given by our carrier:

UK: 1-2 working days

Europe: We regret to inform you that we have had to withdraw from selling (& shipping) to EU destinations, as the cost of post-Brexit compliance means that the garment prices would be prohibitive to our EU customers

USA: 6-7 working days (import duties covered on this slower service) or 3 working days Express

Canada: 6-7 working days or 4 working days Express for an additional £8

The Rest of the World: 6-7 working days

IMPORT DUTIES

Please be aware that for all International customers with the exception of the USA, import duties are payable upon the arrival of the parcel in your country.

For the USA we are able to cover the import duties at the point of export so this is included in the free shipping profile via Royal Mail International. Please note that we also offer free shipping to the US via FedEx, a faster service of 3 working days instead of 6-7 working days, however, we are NOT ABLE TO COVER THE IMPORT DUTIES when shipping via FedEx, so if you choose the faster service, please note that import duties will be payable upon the arrival of the parcel in your country.

The soft open collar comes finished with its own knitted tie, worked into the blouse rather than sewn on and left in a loosely knotted fall — a quiet borrowing from an earlier, more considered kind of dressing.

Crisp, dry, & quietly drapey

A fine diamond pointelle with an unexpected hand — dry and crisp to the touch, yet fluid enough to fall and move with you, the openwork tracing a soft lattice of light across the knit.

Versatility of wear with small side vents

The superfine deep ribbed hem can be worn tucked in to accentuate the waist, or worn loose over a pair of casual trousers or shorts for a more relaxed look
